‘Blue and Lonesome’ is hand-crafted from milky smooth white clay with tiny flecks. After a bisque firing, she is then hand-painted in blue and white pigmented slip (clay mixed with colour pigments), and then covered in a glossy clear glaze and fired again for water proofing and maximum durability.
