Come Behind The Scenes of our latest Collection Shoot
When I was brainstorming a photoshoot for the upcoming collection, the first person who came to mind was Melissa Mikletic, Melbourne-based fashion designer, singer-songwriter and the ultimate romantic.
Mel’s label, Sunshine Symbol, is everything I could ask for - sustainably, locally made from dead-stock fabrics with romance in mind.
From our shared love of oysters, romantic tunes, champagne and soft, grainy film, I knew I’d found my muse in Mel. She was kind enough to send some pieces from her latest collection for the shoot. I wanted to play with shapes, shadows and curves to photograph the ‘Because the Night’ ceramics collection. On digital, film and instant polaroids; I share with you the small moments, behind the scenes.
